Andrea Purifier So Simple, Yet Ingenious Nonetheless

The environmentalists really did influence us. They made us believe in Global Warming. They made us think about our carbon footprints. And now this: The Andrea Purifier, a plant that "purifies the air." Great idea, though I think it is overly stressed. Also, would taking something from nature really be an invention? The concept is actually really simple: Airborn poisons are breeze through the holes into the glass. Then the plant filters the poison, generating purified air to circle the room. Yes that's it. No manufacturing involved. Stick a plant to some plastic, water it twice or 3 times a week and you have a purifier that requires no energy.

Truly ingenious? It even won a 2008 invention award.

Plant? in a plastic container? What do you think?

Well, I guess no one has ever heard of pointing a fan toward a tree, then.

Well, the plant itself is special, as I would imagine.
